Chapter 10, Part IV: The Pill and AIDS
“The ban on contraceptive pills in Japan? will remain, an advisory panel to the Health and Welfare Ministry announced yesterday - despite an earlier commitment? by the ministry to legalize [sic) the Pill? this summer.? The panel said the decision was taken from ‘the viewpoint of public hygiene’, claiming that legalizing the Pill could trigger an Aids (sic) epidemic in

ontraceptive chemicals lower a woman’s immune system? making her susceptible to infections, such as yeast infection.? Evidence suggests that by weakening a woman’s immune system, the pill also puts her at increased risk of contracting AIDS.
“–(T)he sexual transmission of viruses was unknown before the 1960’s.? (Yes, cold sores and warts which are caused by viruses, were sometimes found in the genital region.? But they were skin-to-skin or skin-to-mucous membrane contact lesions, not true venereal infections.? The ‘honor’ of being the first sexually-transmitted virus? is given by many researchers to Herpes? Simplex Virus II–.)
“One could find just about every sexual practice known today described in Renaissance literature–So why wasn’t it [AIDS] happening before?–Under normal conditions there’s a first line of defense against viruses in the female reproductive system: The acidity of the genital mucosa.? Viruses are readily deactivated by acids except very weak ones [acids].
“What was it, then, that weakened the acidity?–The only new thing under the sun, the birth control? pill, which came on the market almost everywhere in 1960.? As far back as 1967 doctors from the World Health Organization? expressed some anxiety over the changes in the genital mucosa induced by the Pill, concern that such alterations would affect the incidence of venereal diseases.? In 1980, in an updated version of her book, The Doctors’ Case Against The Pill, Barbara Seaman? complained that the FDA? didn’t pay enough attention to the so-called ‘nuisance’ side effects? of the Pill — such conditions as yeast infections and herpes? – and didn’t require them to be listed in the warnings.? These are infections that flourish in mild acidity or alkalinity.
“In addition to the reduction of acidity, steroid contracepÂtives have another trait which would encourage the survival of viruses:? They depress the immune system.? The British Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists? noted this fact in 1974 when their studies revealed that women using birth control? pills were more susceptible to chicken pox and other viral infections because the hormones in the Pill? lessened their resistance.? Dr. Howard Shapiro? in The Birth Control Book in 1977 suggested that the product increased susceptibility by reducing the gamma globulin level in the bloodstream.
“Consider this scenario:? Any virus? that exists in saliva could be transmitted through cunnilingus into the vagina.? Ordinarily, nothing more would happen because the acidity of the mucosa would deactivate the virus.? If the woman is taking birth control? pills, that acidity, that first line of defense, is gone.? The viruses could survive, and because of the depression of the immune system? could establish footholds.? Now the stage has been set for the sexual transmission of these pathogens.
“For AIDS? it took one more step:? The virus? had to get into the lower intestinal tract where the T-4 lymphocytic cells, the guard cells of the immune system? are swarming in large numbers.? These are the ones the invader, a T-cell virus, is ‘programmed’ to attack.? The viruses are ancient ones; homosexuality? is an ancient practice.? A middle step must have been necessary for its passage and subsequent development.? The key is bisexuality.? We suggest that the bisexual male picked it up from the genital tract of a woman in whom the protective acidity had been destroyed by the Pill.? He then carried it into the ‘gay’ community, where anal intercourse? is widely practiced, and conditions are ideal for its deadly transition.
“But the Pill? had been around for about twenty years before AIDS? appeared.? Why did it take so long?? First, the virus? had to be there.? Second, it had to exist in the saliva of the male partner.? Third, if it did exist there, the couple had to engage in oral sex.? It’s a relatively common practice, but not universal.? Fourth, the female partner had to be using birth control? pills.? Fifth, she must at some point have had a sexual relationship with a bisexual male who could carry it into the ‘gay’ community through anal intercourse.? With all the steps that were necessary, it wouldn’t have spread like wildfire.? But don’t forget:? There were some other sexually-transmitted viruses appearing before AIDS did, so it didn’t actually take so long for the groundwork to be laid for venereal diseases that had been unknown previously.
“–There’s only one nation where oral contraceptives? have never been used, and that’s
“In a book called Drugs In Our Society, Dickinson W.? Richards, who won a Nobel prize in medicine in 1956, wrote, ‘Let man make the smallest blunder in his far-reaching and complex physical or physiological reconstructions, and Nature, striking from some unforeseen direction, exacts a massive retribution.’? He wasn’t talking about the Pill, but what could be more far-reaching and complex than Man’s reconstruction of the female reproductive system?? And because of that ‘smallest blunder’-the alteration of the mucosa — Nature did indeed strike with a massive retribution.†? [2]
“Thirty-five years after the pill was introduced in most other Western nations, the Japanese Health Department has finally given permission for the production and sale of birth control? pills.? For reasons known only to that bureau, it has publicly concluded, ‘There is no connection between the pill’s use and the spread of HIV.’? Furthermore, ‘The advent of the pill will change the reliance on condoms, abortions and sexual abstinence.’? It correctly stated that the high condom? failure rate has led to a high number of abortions, but stated that, ‘sex has lost its appeal to the average male and to Japanese married couples’ and that legalization of the pill ‘may revive men’s interest in sex and lead to an increase in the birthrate.’
“Can you imagine a greater flight of fancy than to say that the introduction of the contraceptive pill in a nation will lead to an increase in the birthrate? [The] editors wonder what references these health department bureaucrats used.â€[3]
Dr. Leonard Horowitz, D.M.D., M.A., M.P.H. authored a book titled Emerging Viruses AIDS & Ebola.? He served on the faculties of both Harvard and
“Did you know that:
- “HIV and Ebola? are most likely man-made?
- “The leukemia/sarcoma/lymphoma? AIDS? cancer complex, never seen in humans prior to 1978, had been the primary focus of National Cancer Institute? viral research during the 1960’s?
- “Cancer virus? experts who protested sloppy science, and predicted outbreaks as well as the current epidemics, lost their jobs?
- “Viruses continue to contaminate some of today’s most commonly used vaccines due to risky outdated FDA? regulations?
- “The World Health Organization, National Cancer Institute, Centers for Disease Control? Merck Pharmaceutical Company, the Department of Defense, NATO? and the CIA? (Central Intelligence Agency) may hold the real truth of the origins of these diseases and will never share it with you?
“Dive into the first real exploration of the origins of the world’s deadliest viruses: AIDS? and Ebola, and discover the outrageous and chilling facts about how, when, where, and why the viruses that now threaten humanity’s survival were made and broke out!â€[4]
I had the privilege of attending Dr. Horowitz’s presentation, and found the documentation he has accumulated to be most impressive.? See this book’s chapter titled “Promote the Positive and Navigate the Negative†for information on how to order his book, video, and audiotapes.
